We are seeking a GenAI leader for one of our clients who is a global technology company in Financial Services.

Role Overview:

The Chief GenAI Officer will lead the organization’s Generative AI strategy, overseeing innovation, implementation, and governance. This role is responsible for integrating Generative AI (GenAI) technologies into core business functions to drive efficiency, innovation, and competitive differentiation; while ensuring ethical, compliant, and responsible use of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the organization’s enterprise-wide Generative AI vision and roadmap.
• Translate business priorities into actionable GenAI initiatives that drive measurable value.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of GenAI-powered systems, applications, and copilots.
• Establish AI ethics, data governance, and risk frameworks aligned with global regulations (GDPR, AI Act, etc.).
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary AI team of data scientists, engineers, prompt designers.
• Identify new revenue streams, operational efficiencies, and customer experience enhancements enabled by GenAI.
• Oversee research initiatives in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and multimodal systems.
• Author and supervise the publication of whitepapers, technical papers, and AI innovation reports to showcase organizational thought leadership.
• Lead patent development and IP portfolio creation for proprietary GenAI technologies, frameworks, and use cases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• 15+ years in data science, including 3–5 years in AI leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, NLP, multimodal models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and enterprise AI platforms.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and large-scale initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, and emerging regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
